How do I measure my wall?

Measure the widest width and the tallest height of the full wall, including doors and windows, and add 2–4 inches (5–10 cm) to both for trimming. Measure in three places each way and keep the largest number. Step by step: how to measure a wall for wallpaper.

How much wallpaper do I need?

You order one mural sized to your wall, not a number of rolls. Take your measurement plus the trimming allowance and choose the closest listed size that is at least that big. Our size guide and calculator includes worked examples for a 287 × 245 cm wall and a 131 × 66 in wall.

What sizes are available?

Most designs are listed in eight standard sizes from 60 × 40 in to 200 × 110 in (152 × 102 cm to 508 × 279 cm), plus a sample. Every product page also has a Find your size tool that suggests a size from your wall measurements.

Can I request a custom size?

Yes. Every mural is made to order. Send your wall width and height and the design you like through our custom orders page before ordering, and we'll prepare the artwork for your dimensions. More in custom size wall murals.

Can I order a mural for a 131 × 66 inch wall?

Yes. The smallest standard size that covers it is 140 × 90 in, which means trimming about 24 in from the height. A custom size of about 135 × 70 in keeps much more of the design on the wall. See the custom size guide.

What's the difference between peel and stick and non-woven wallpaper?

Peel & Stick is self-adhesive and removable, and works best on a smooth wall. Non-Woven (180 g/m²) is a smooth, washable, breathable paper hung by pasting the wall, and it is our lowest-priced material. We also offer Textured (240 g/m²) and, on most designs, Canvas Peel & Stick. Full comparison: peel and stick vs non-woven wallpaper.

Can I use peel and stick wallpaper on a textured wall?

Use it with caution on a lightly textured wall, and not at all on a textured or rough one. For textured walls, choose a paste-applied material: Non-Woven or Textured. See wallpaper for textured walls.

Is wallpaper adhesive included?

No. Non-Woven and Textured wallpaper need wallpaper adhesive, which is not included. Peel & Stick and Canvas Peel & Stick are self-adhesive.

Should I order a sample?

Yes, if color, finish or adhesion matters. A sample costs $16: choose Sample as the size on the product page. Screens and room lighting change how a design looks, and a sample shows the real print and material in your own light. Order a sample.

How are large murals supplied?

In numbered vertical panels about 40 inches (100 cm) wide. The artwork continues from one panel to the next. Exact panel width and number depend on the size and material you order.

Will the artwork match the room image exactly?

Styled room photographs are mockups. The crop and scale on your wall depend on your wall's proportions. If a particular part of the design must be visible, tell us before ordering.

How long does production take?

Wallpaper is made to order. Production normally takes 3–7 business days before dispatch; delivery time then depends on the destination and carrier. See shipping.

Can I return or exchange a mural?

Most full-size wallpapers are printed to the size and material you select, so eligibility depends on the item and any customization. Email us before sending anything back. For eligible items, exchange requests must be made within 30 days of delivery and the buyer pays return shipping. Can I cancel my order?

Cancellation requests are accepted within 2 hours of purchase. Email info@lumvinwalls.com with your order number as soon as possible.

How do I install the wallpaper?

Prepare a clean, dry, dust-free and fully cured wall, lay the panels out in order and follow our installation guide. We recommend professional installation for larger walls.
